Using our services

These terms apply to car rental, planned trips and transport services arranged with TRI A DRIVE CAR RENTALS PTY LTD. Bookings are subject to vehicle availability, the agreed service details and the terms confirmed with you at the time of booking.

Rental eligibility

Car-rental drivers must be 25 years or older and hold a current, valid driver licence. We collect driver-licence details for rental bookings. Vehicles are fitted with tracking devices for safety and security.

Important rental payment rules

A $500 booking and security deposit is required upfront for rentals. It is refundable five business days after the trip, subject to the agreed rental terms and any applicable charges. Daily payment fees and terms apply.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club cards for online prepayments and counter charges. Major bank-issued debit cards may be accepted for reservations and vehicle returns; prepaid or stored-value cards are not accepted. You must present the physical, valid card used for booking together with your current driver licence when collecting the vehicle.

Additional charges, including tolls, fuel charges or optional insurance cover, may be billed to your card where applicable.

Care and community clients

No deposit is required for aged and community-care clients. Driver options are available. Please contact us to discuss the support and transport arrangement that best suits your needs.

Cancellations

Give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel without charge. A $100 booking fee applies where less than 24 hours’ notice is given.
